Information Collection and Use by Lexy

Lexy collects user-submitted information such as name, email address, phone number, Instant Message and age to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the Lexy service.

Lexy also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, time zone, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the website. Such data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

User information, including members' personal voice greetings and user names, are displayed or played to recipients designated by senders in order to facilitate consumer interaction. Phone numbers are used for the purposes of sending notifications to friends and sending notifications related to the service. Our members' private phone numbers are not displayed to unknown or uncontacted others. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members unless you authorize us to do so.

We may also use a user's email address to send notifications, updates, newsletters or information regarding the Lexy service.

Transfer of Personal Data to Partners

From time to time, Lexy or a partner may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake, contest or other activity on Lexy. Callers and/or website visitors may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate. If a consumer requests information or action from a Lexy partner, we may transfer personal information to specific advertising partners from which the aforementioned information or action is explicitly requested. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy statement will apply.

In addition, Lexy may share your personal information: (1) in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; (2) if Lexy believes it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person or property; (3) if Lexy believes it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding significant abuse of Lexy’s site’s infrastructure or the Internet in general (such as voluminous spamming, denial of service attacks, or attempts to compromise the security of information); (4) to Lexy’s parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us (in which case we will require such entities to honor this privacy policy); and (5) if Lexy is acquired by or merged with another entity.

Communications to Non-members

Lexy members can communicate with other people by sharing audio content and voice messages with them either via our phone application or our website. Lexy stores the phone numbers and email addresses that members provide so that the recipients may be added to a member's phone book and also to alert the recipient of the message shared with them via email or SMS. Lexy does not sell or make available for another entity's use these phone numbers and email addresses.

Modifying and Deleting Your Personal Information

If you would like to modify or delete from our database any personal information you previously submitted to Lexy, please do so at Lexy's My Account Page by accessing your profile and making any changes. Sometimes these requests may take up to ten business days to process and Lexy will not be responsible for removing personal information from the database of any third party to whom Lexy was authorized to disclose your personal information prior to processing your request. Please note that any personal information that Lexy has copied may remain in back-up storage for some period of time after your request, that if you delete certain information you may not be able to order services in the future without re-submitting such information, and Lexy will maintain personal information in its database whenever Lexy is required to do so by law.

Use of Cookies

Lexy uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information, for purposes including ensuring compliance with our terms and policies, to improve the user experience with our services, and tocustomize Web page and, eventually, widget content based on browser type and user profile information. You maybe able to configure your browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set -each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookiepreferences.

Lexy may contain links to other sites. Lexy is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices onother sites. When linking to another site a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site. Our Privacy only governs information always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it. A User is bound by any minor changes to the policy when sheor he uses the site after those changes have been posted. If, however, we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify by posting a notice on our site for thirty days.
